Inaugural lecture to introduce the newly appointed professor

On March, 6, 2024 at 18:00 at University of Potsdam, 3.06.H02, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Marcus Grum is introduced at University of Potsdam and presents his first lecture on the topic “An introduction to the research field of AI-based application systems”.

Prof. Dr.-Ing. Marcus Grum has held the junior professorship for Business Information Systems, especially AI-based application systems, at the Faculty of Business, Economics and Social Sciences at the University of Potsdam since January 2024. His research focuses on how AI-based application systems can be designed in a data-based and process-oriented manner so that they can be integrated into the corporate context in the best possible way. Professor Grum will speak on Artificial Intelligence (AI), AI-based application systems and give an outlook on planned research topics.
